Dear Panda Families,
We are officially past the half way point of the school year. I want to take some time to discuss procedures for bringing and picking up your students from school everyday. We had many students arriving to school late and being pick up from school late everyday. We have changed our drop off procedures in the morning to help alleviate some of the traffic. The gate will be open for student drop off at 7:50 a.m. Students will be considered tardy if they arrive at school after 8:10 a.m. Student tardies affect their attendance and it disrupts the class from learning. Please do not drop off your students at school before 7:50 a.m. because we do not have adults to supervise the students.
Student dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. for K-3 and 2:50 p.m. for 4-5. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before dismissal if you are picking up your child through the pick up line. Students who are not picked up 10 minutes after dismissal will be brought into the office. Parents will need to park their cars and walk into the office to pick up their students. We understand that sometimes there are circumstances that prevent you from picking up your child on time, however, this should not be a regular occurrence.
Please help us build your child’s success at school by ensuring they are at school every day and on time.
Ms. Karim
