Dear Panda Families,
The school year is off to a wonderful start. During the first month of school students have been busy and engaged in learning. One exciting event was the solar eclipse. Students were able to view the eclipse by watching the NASA live stream in the classroom and our 5th graders watched the eclipse using NASA approved glasses.
All parents have to be cleared through the district in order to volunteer or help in classrooms. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the office and we can help get you started.
If you are dropping off or picking up your child in the drive through line, please pull all the way up to the first cross walk (in front of the school office). Please do not stop in the middle of the drive up line. When entering the parking lot please do not make a left turn during pick up and drop off times as it does slow down the process for everyone. For the safety of everyone please use the crosswalks.
All grades are dismissed every Monday at 1:20. Grades Kinder- 3rd are dismissed at 2:30 Tuesday- Friday and grades 4-5 are dismissed at 2:50 Tuesday- Friday. For student safety it is important that all students are picked up at their release time.
I want to thank the staff, families, and students here at Villa for their commitment to student achievement. We are a team and together we will continue to provide the best educational experiences for our students. I strongly believe the success of our students depends on a strong relationship between school and home. Communication is at the center of this. Your child’s education is of the utmost importance to all of us here at Villalovoz.
