After School Learning Labs -

Once again, THS is proud to offer to all students Learning Labs in each content area! If a student needs a little extra help on an assignment, please let them know about our wonderful Labs! Students can attend all or part of a Lab session as they are drop in Labs. They must, however, come with work to do, be on task, and follow all rules. Labs are also a great place to study if students want to work in study groups with one another and have a teacher close at hand to help them should they get stuck.
 All Labs run from 3:20pm - 4:20pm
Social Science - Mr. Nunn - A218 - Tuesdays
Math - Mr. Hern - A109 - Thursdays
Modern Language - Mr. Melgarejo - D102 - Thursdays
English - Mr. Musich - A207 - Wednesdays

 Principal's Message
The Tracy High school year is well underway.  Students should be well immersed in their studies at this point (the first quarter will end on October 9th). On any given day at Tracy High School you will find our computer labs full of working students, our Library filled with students studying, PE classes running the track, or an art class sketching outside. With over 2100 students our campus is busy usually six days a week.
Tracy High School is home to the famous FEAST class.  This culinary class prepares students for a career in food services.  FEAST hosts lunches that are open to the public during the school year. You will dine as if in a top restaurant! The price is reasonable, and the food is always wonderful.  Come join us and support our FEAST students.  The first lunch will be held on September 24th. Please contact (the teacher and head chef!) for details and to reserve a seat. He can also add you to their electronic mailing list, and you will receive information about lunches for the school year.
High School enjoyment can be greatly enriched by getting involved in activities.  We offer a wide variety of clubs for students to join. Friday, September 18th will be our first Senior Class event with the Senior Tailgate before the football game with crosstown rivals, Kimball Jaguars.  Athletes in Fall sports have been working hard for months now, and it shows with early success for many teams. The THS Band is also working hard morning, noon, and yes, even night to prepare not only for the football season but also for their competitions.
Rapidly approaching is Homecoming Week!  Homecoming is truly a celebration of being part of the Tracy High School family. Flower Parties will be on September 28, 30 and October 5, 7 at the school from 6pm to 8pm. Homecoming Week will be October 12 – 16.  Definitely make plans to attend the Night Rally on Wednesday, October 14th as it always proves to be entertaining with many clubs and groups joining the classes for the fun. The festivities will peak on Friday, October 16th with our fabulous parade downtown, football games, and homecoming dance.
