Do not bring medicine of any kind to school without filling out the correct forms located in the office.

 WHAT'S HAPPENING

  For EADMS Online Testing:
------------
Extremely Important: All 7th and 8th graders must have up to date vaccinations, including the T-dap vaccination,
before attending school. Please check your child's vaccination history and plan accordingly so that your child can start school
on the first day, August 7, 2017.

PARKING LOT SAFETY: Please stay in your lane and watch out for pedestrians so that everyone is safe. Also, ONLY staff cars are allowed in the back parking lot. Please do not let your child off there.

REMINDER: Whenever you pick up your student early from school, please remember to bring your ID to the office.  We check ID every time on every student to ensure our students' safety.  Thanks for your cooperation!

LANYARDS: Students are required to wear their IDs on a lanyard around their necks every day.  Please make sure that your child has the ID and lanyard ready to wear as he/she leaves for school. Thanks!

 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Mustang Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! We are excited to offer pre-registration again this year. Make sure you pick up your registration packet during the week of July 24. Your registration date and time will be listed on the front of your registration packet.
During registration you will take school pictures, get your ID, get your classes and teachers. You will also have an opportunity to purchase gym clothes or yearbooks.
To participate in pre-registration, make sure all fines are paid and all shots are up to date.
If you do not participate in pre-registration, simply bring all forms to the office on the first day of school. Your student will get the ID card during picture make ups at the end of August.
Back to School Night is August 9 at 5:30. Come meet your child's teachers and find out what your child will be learning this year.
We invite you to ask a lot of questions at registration and Back to School Night. We are here to serve the community. Our goal is to send a well prepared student to high school. We know that it takes a team to make this happen. Families + Schools = Success.
We are big on parent involvement at Monte Vista. Soon you will see opportunities to volunteer, join the PTO, take an adult English class, or take a parenting class. Keep your eyes open for flyers and voice mail sent to your phone. In addition, this website is updated each month to help keep you informed.

Should you have any questions, please call the office or come down for a visit.

Principal

Go, Mustangs!
