Dear Mustang Students and Families,
Finally the weather is cooperating and it's starting to look a lot like Fall! Days are getting shorter and nights are getting cooler. That means that this month is booked with a ton of activities for both students and parents. Please see the "event" section above so that you can plan to attend our great parent or student events.
Two important events are the First Quarter Awards Assembly and Parent Teacher Conference Week.
If you child is recieving an award, you will recieve an invitation to see him accept the award. Look on the left side of this page to see the date and time of the assembly. We will honor high grades, great citizenship, attendance, most improved, and students of character.
Parent Conference Week offers you the opportunity to pick up your child's report card and speak to all the teachers in person. Please look on the left side of this page for conference days and times.
Last, due to some close calls I want to remind ALL parents of the following regarding our drop off loop:
Please do not speed in the loop.
Please do not drop off your child in the outer lane. Pull to the curb for drop off. The outer lane is for movement. The curb lane is for drop off. If you continue to drop off your child in the middle of the road, you are puting your child in danger.
We all know that traffic is bad, but it only gets worse if you park your car on the curb to go to the office. This blocks traffic and causes other drivers to get mad, speed, honk, and pull around you in a dangerous manner. If you are coming to the office, there are plenty of parking spaces nearby.
Our goal is not only academic! We also want to keep your child safe. Thank you.
