I’m so excited to become part of the Kimball High family! The late Dr. Kimball was a fixture of this community and his example of servant leadership forms a great model for our staff and students to follow.
At Kimball High School we believe that each and every student can succeed and we will strive to build upon the strength of our diverse student population. I am proud to be in a position to further develop the culture of our relatively young campus.
I am coming to Kimball High School after 4 years of experience as a dynamic assistant principal of curriculum and instruction at Wasco High School in Kern County.
Prior to that I taught for 11 years, primarily as a Social Studies and Spanish teacher. For 3 or those years I also served in the health careers academy. I am a proud graduate of Brigham Young University, and I also hold a master’s degree in bilingual and multicultural education from Cal State Bakersfield, in addition to my administrative credential work at Point Loma Nazarene University. I look forward to meeting you all and please don’t hesitate reach out so that we can get to know each other better.
