      Dance Guidelines:

Dances are held periodically during the school year as a Student Council activity from 3:00-5:00pm. Dances are for Middle School students only. 

  • Attendance at dances is a privilege.
  • Students must have their ID cards to be admitted to the dance at the door.
  • Students may not arrive more than 30 minutes late unless brought by their parent and they may not leave before the end of the dance unless released to their parent.
  • Students may not attend the dance if they did not attend school on the day of the activity.
  • All school rules and consequences for misconduct are in effect at dances.
  • It is requested that students be picked up within fifteen minutes of the end of the dance.
  • If a student is not picked up after the dance by 5:15pm, the student will not be allowed to attend the next dance.
  • Students who owe fines, books and/or detention time or who have been suspended during the trimester in which the dance occurs may not attend the dance.
  • All school rules and consequences for misconduct are in effect at dances.
  • Specific dance dates are announced in the student bulletin.
  • Students may not have cell phones at dances. They may turn them on after the dance for rides.
