Staff Parking Lot

New signs have been posted in our staff parking lot. The staff parking lot is ONLY for staff and requires a permit to park in this area. Any vehicle parked in this area without a permit will be cited or towed by city officials. To ensure safety, our parking lot is monitored by the Tracy Police Department.

Attendance is IMPORTANT!

Teachers cannot teach students who are not in school. There is strong evidence that shows regular attendance can result in significant improvements in test scores.  Each month, our school goal is 98% attendance.

Closed Campus

All visitors must sign in at the office and wear a visitor's sticker.  We are a closed campus for the safety of all our students.

Hello George Kelly Family,               Dr Bunch picture

My name is Dr. Michael Bunch, your new principal!  I am thrilled to be a part of our Ohana!  In the very short time that I have been a part of TUSD I can truly say that it has been a wonderful experience.  My wife and I moved to the Tracy community almost thirteen years ago, and are humbled to be a part of the community.  Prior to joining TUSD I taught middle school at Wicklund and Questa elementary schools in Mountain House, CA.  I also had the privilege of serving as the vice principal of both Bethany and Questa elementary schools, also in Mountain House, CA.  Most recently I served as the principal of Gustine Middle School from 2014-2017.  This journey has led me to KES, and I have found my home.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I coach youth baseball and soccer in the Tracy community.  We are huge Disney fans, and visit both Disneyland and Walt Disney World every chance we get.

Walt Disney and Nick Saban are two of my heroes.  I absolutely believe that we will Keep Moving Forward, and Trust the Process.  These two philosophies guide everything that we do here at KES.  Our commitment to your child is to push them further in their learning, and ensure that all students learn at high levels.  As your principal, I am only one member of the KES Ohana.  It will take a family’s effort to ensure that our children are successful.  We will work tirelessly to make sure that students leave KES equipped to be successful in high school and beyond.  I look forward to continuing our journey together, and am proud to be an American Eagle!
