Teachers cannot teach students who are not in school. There is strong evidence that shows regular attendance can result in significant improvements in test scores.
Each month, our school goal is 98% attendance.

Dear Kelly Families,

Fall has arrived and the school year is well underway!  George Kelly is very excited for our 2nd Annual Fall Festival which is taking place on Friday, October 16th from 3:00-7:00 pm! It is going to be bigger and better than ever! There will be a pumpkin patch, crafts, fun and food!  In addition for the 2nd year, George Kelly will be hosting a 5K Zombie Run on Oct. 9th from 3:30-5:30pm for $15.00. You must register for the Zombie Run ahead of time, no later than Fri., Oct. 2nd. Forms are available in the office and on the school website.

Our soccer and volleyball season are taking off!  Our coaches and students are working hard and doing a great job!! Thank you again to all of those who are supporting our teams and making it happen! Without your support and time, the students would not be able to make these great memories and hone their skills! Students don’t forget to turn in your  weekly grade sheets to your coach!!

October 9th also marks the end of the first trimester for the student’s grading period. Parent conferences will be held the last week of October on the 26th, and 28th-30th. There will be no school for students on Monday the 26th, and the 28th-30th will be minimum days.   Please keep an eye out for parent conference sign ups which will be happening around Oct. 16th.

Dr. Jeanine Wilson, Principal

I am thrilled to be a part of the George Kelly community! I have enjoyed getting to know the students, staff, and parents each day! Teachers and staff have the students’ best interests at heart…as I notice that relationships are strong and trusting between many! The standards and expectations for students to achieve success in their academics and character traits are easily noticeable. Thank you for a great first year and making me feel like an integral part of this team.  Please feel free to come by or drop me an email at…my door is always open!
