01.27.20  Deadline.  The College Expo Writing Essay  Amount of award not specified.  Open to Juniors & Seniors, must be a U.S. citizen, or permanent legal resident.  Must submit an essay of 500 words or less about “Why is a College Education Important to Me”.  Visit website for specific instructions.  Winners must attend the 
Black College Expo to receive scholarship award.  All students welcome to apply and attend Expo.    

01.31.20  Deadline.  Lincoln Center Scholarship   3 @ $1,000, graduating senior, college bound, GPA of 3.0 or higher, must be a San Joaquin County resident. 

01.31.20  Deadline.   eQuality Scholarship Collaborative  $6,000.  Scholarships available to graduating students for their services to the lesbian/Gay/bisexual/transgender community.  Must be planning to attend a two yr., or a 4 yr. College/university, vocational or technical school in the Fall of 2020.  Applicant must provide
evidence of involvement in volunteer activities promoting understanding of and equality for the LGBT community with a recommendation from a teacher, staff member, counselor, or advisor familiar with such involvement.     

01.31.20 Deadline.  Future Contractors Scholarship  Graduating seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry.  Applicants must applyonline.  Essay required.

01.31.20 Deadline. 2020 InspirASIAN Scholarship Program, 15-$2,000 national and 4-$1,000 state, Northern California, scholarships available. Open to all high school seniors of any ethnic or cultural background with a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. Apply online.

02.01.20 2pm Deadline. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship. Varies (40-60 awards given annually), must be a graduating, minority high school senior, plan to attend an accredited 4 year institution in the U.S., show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to community service, present evidence of financial need, be a U.S. citizen, a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on math & critical reading or a composite ACT score of 21, and not prior college degree. Apply online.

02.02.20 Deadline.  Tracy Hispanic Scholarship Multiple Awards of $500 Must be of Hispanic descent and have a 2.0 GPA with plans to attend a 2 year or 4 year college, university, or trade/vocational school.  Application in the Career Center.

02.07.20  Deadline.  Tracy Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Group, or on face book f/tracychamber   $500, graduating Hispanic senior who will enroll in a 2 yr. or 4 yr. college or University or Vocational/Trade school in the fall of 2020.  Copy of transcript.  Several scholarships available.

02.10.20  Deadline.  2020 CIF Scholar-Athlete of the Year $1,000-$5,000  College-bound high school seniors whose academic and athletic careers have been truly exemplary and whose personal standards and accomplishments are a positive model for others.  Must possess no less than an unweighted GPA of 3.50, have demonstrated athletic ability in at least two years of varsity play within California.  Letters of recommendation, copy of recent transcript, student essay.  

02.15.20  Deadline.  The Christermon Foundation  $3,000 to $6,000, senior planning to attend a 4-year college/university in the U.S.  Open to California students whose parents and/or grandparents or legal guardian are proprietors of, or employed by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor, beer or wine license.  This includes restaurants, hotels, retail & wholesale grocery establishments, airlines, breweries, wineries, distributors, etc.  Must list specific extra-curricular activities.  Additional pre-requisites are detailed on the website.

02.17.20  Deadline.   Youth on Course $4,000 - $20,000  Graduating senior, GPA of 3.0 or above, planning to attend a 4 yr. College/University in the Fall of 2020.  Copy of transcript, SAT/ACT scores, letter of reference.  

02.20.20  Deadline.  National Co-Op Merit Scholarship Program  up to $6,000 renewable.  College cooperative education is a unique academic program combining classroom studies with professional work experience in a field related to your education and career goals.  Graduating Senior, GPA of 3.5 or better, planning to attend at one of the institutions listed on application. 02.21.20  Deadline.  California Retired Teachers Association.  Copies available in your school’s Career Center, 5 @ $1,000, graduating senior who is planning a teaching vocation.  Awards are made to high school seniors who attend public schools in San Joaquin County, GPA of 3.0 or above, autobiographical essay including reasons for choosing a teaching career, leadership qualities and abilities, financial need, copy of transcript, & letters of recommendation.

02.21.20  Deadline.  Tracy Area Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. –amount of award not provided.  Applications available in your school’s Career Center.  Open to graduating seniors of African American descent.  Must be planning to attend an accredited two or four-year college or University.  Copy of an official transcript, two letters of recommendation, essay on your educational and professional goals and how you plan to achieve them.  

02.27.20 Deadline. The Dream.Us Scholarship TheDream.US scholarships are for highly motivated DREAMers who want nothing more than to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost. They have no access to federal aid, limited access to state aid, and they sometimes face paying out-of-state tuition. TheDream.US has adopted new immigration eligibility criteria! You are now eligible to apply if you came to the country before November 1, 2014. Apply online at the link listed above.

02.28.20  Deadline.  San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation  $500 - $2,000 (various scholarships available).  Graduating senior planning to pursue a career in the agriculture industry, Ag sciences, Ag technology, education, etc.  Must be planning to attend a 2 yr. or 4 yr. college/university as specified on each application.

03.01.20  Deadline. American Chemical Society Scholarship Program
$5,000.  Graduating senior of African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian (see website for more details).  Intend to major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or another chemistry-related science.  Demonstrate high academic achievement in chemistry or science, GPA of 3.0 or higher.  Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent U.S. resident. 

03.01.20 Deadline.  DevTeam Space STEM Scholarship  $1,000, open to student’s 9th-12th grade.  Write a 500+ essay on the following topic:  “How STEM career will affect the world over the next 50 years?”

03.01.20 Deadline.  American Welding Society  $2,000-$2,500.  National, District, and Section Scholarship applications open.  National Scholarships are for students pursuing
a specific degree at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.   Each individual scholarship has its own eligibility requirements.  Please refer to scholarship descriptions in the National Scholarships Table for more information

03.02.20  Deadline.  Asian Pacific Fund Scholarship Programs  $1,000 - $20,000 (various scholarships)  Open to graduating senior with any ethnic background.   
Must plan to enroll full time in a college or university in the fall of 2020.  Minimum of 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.  

03.02.20  Deadline.  CSU Stanislaus State University Scholarships   Amount of awards varies.  All prospective students who have applied for admission at Stanislaus State for the Fall of 2020 and Spring of 2021 should apply.  The online application allows students to apply for multiple on-campus scholarships using one application.

03.06.20 Deadline. Caltrans District 10 & the California Transportation Foundation $$1,000 Must be a graduating senior from a high school within District 10 (S.J.C. is in District 10).  A GPA of 2.6 or better is required.  Must also be interested in a transportation career.  Application in the Career Center

03.06.20 Deadline.  California Wine Grape Growers   3 @ $8,000 attending a 4 yr. college and 3 @ $2,000 attending a 2 yr. community College.  Senior planning to attend a 2 Jr. Junior College or a 4 yr. University.  Parent must be employed by a wine grape grower.  Copy of transcript, SAT or ACT score requested.  Letter of recommendation and personal essay must accompany completed application.

03.07.20 Deadline. Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Scholarship. Awards in the amount of $2,500-(2 available) Graduating senior of Japanese American descent at an accredited high school with a GPA of 2.5. Applicant should be actively involved in her or his local community. Print application at website listed above. Mail completed application to address listed and postmarked by 3/7/2020.

03.08.20 Deadline.  California Wine Grape Growers  Two $8,000 Awards and Four $2,000 Awards, Must be a child of a California vineyard employee.

03.14.20  Deadline.  NDTA – National Defense Transportation Association of San Joaquin County.  Applications available in your school’s Career Center.  $500-$1,500.  Graduating high school senior 
who plans to attend a vocational/trade school or a 2 yr. or 4 yr. college/university.  NDTA focuses on assistance in the Transportation Education and/or logistics related field.  If you are interested in
any of the following fields, please consider applying for this scholarship:  communications, industry, marketing, sales, advertising, management, accounting, finance, data entry, health care, security,
mechanics, computer technicians, specialists in all modes of transportation including those who build trucks, planes, ships, rail cars.   Also includes, logisticians, dispatchers, warehouse persons, 
load planners, drivers, pilots, seamen, teachers, civil engineers, road construction, air traffic controllers.

03.15.20  Deadline.  Italian Catholic Federation  $400  Must be a Catholic graduating senior of Italian descent who has at least a 3.2 GPA.  Provide a personal letter-explaining applicant’s Italian origin, copy of a transcript, letter of recommendation from a school official.

03.16.20  Deadline.  The Nijagal Family Scholarship.  Electronic or paper applications available only.  Four awards up to $750.  Open to graduating THS seniors who plan to attend a CSU or UC in the fall of 2020.  Undergraduate degree programs eligible for scholarships include Medical Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Law or Performing Arts.  
In addition, students pursuing the Associated Degree Programs are also eligible for scholarship.  Must have taken advanced courses all four years in high school.  GPA of 3.5 or above.  Excellent attendance, no referrals, no Saturday School, or no expulsions.  Submit a 200 word essay explaining your goals and how you value education in your career plan.  What are your plans in motivating others to take up education beyond high school?    Two (2) letters of recommendation from your teacher and letter(s) of recommendation demonstrating community service and copy of unofficial transcript.

03.20.20 Deadline.  $500 must be an African American high school senior from Tracy who has a minimum 3.5 GPA, and has been accepted into an accredited college or university.  Application in the Career Center.

03.31.20 Deadline.  Tracy Historical Museum/West Side Pioneer Association – Applications available in your school’s Career Center, 3 @ $500, graduating seniors planning to attend a 2 year or a 4 year college with a demonstrated interest in local Tracy History.  Essay on Tracy History.

04.01.20 Deadline.  http:/ $1,000   Must be a graduating senior who plans to pursue an education in the trades that relate to Caltrans Maintenance and Operations.  Qualifying post high school graduation institutions include, the community colleges and trade schools. 

04.01.20  Deadline.  THS L.B. Moore Social Studies Scholarship.  Open to Tracy High School seniors, copies available in Room A112, 3 @ $1,000, college bound, GPA of 2.5 or higher and received an A or B grade for both semesters for two of the three required Social Studies courses.  Write a 200-300 word essay on how the study of history/social studies has impacted you.

04.01.20 Deadline. Give Every Child A Chance-Service Challenge Scholarship $250-1,000. Open to graduating seniors that have volunteered for Give Every Child A Chance (active within the past 4 years of high school). Volunteer service does not have to be served within the tutoring component of the program. Must have contributed at least 100 hours (non-school) of community service within the past four years of high school. NOTE: Not all hours need to be served at Give Every Child A Chance. Letters of proof from other organizations you served are required. West High has had winners-encouraged to apply! Apply online.

04.10.20 Deadline.  Carol Phan Memorial Scholarship  $1,000.  Must be a Tracy High Senior that has been enrolled in the IB or Ag Science Programs and has been accepted or plans to attend a 4 yr. University.  GPA of 3.50 or higher.  Essay required.

04.30.20  Deadline.  “Review It” Scholarship $1,000.  Graduating senior, planning to attend a college or university no later than September of 2020.  Achieved a 2.5 or greater during last academic year.  Submit a review of your favorite movie.  

05.31.20  Deadline.  LM Scholarship $500.  Graduating senior, college bound, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a US resident.  Essay topic:  Write an essay about a situation you have been involved in or someone you know has been involved in when better safety procedures would have prevented an injury.  Explain in detail what safety procedures you believe should have been in place to prevent the injury andhow they would have prevented the injury.

06.19.20 Deadline.  Big Sun Scholarship  $500. Graduating senior, college bound, currently involved in some sport in high school or in the community.
