9-12 Summer Program

TUSD will provide 9 – 12^th grade Credit Recovery Summer School in efforts to support student success. Summer School information for 9^th – 12^th grade can be found below. Summer School is an opportunity for students to retake courses in which they received a D or an F for the semester. If you are unsure of which class(es) your student needs or if your student is eligible, please email your student’s counselor. Applications are due by April If you have any questions regarding summer school, please email tusdsummerschoolcreditrecovery@tusd.net. TUSD will contact you in May by email regarding your student’s placement within the summer school program.

En un esfuerzo por apoyar el éxito de los estudiantes de grados 9 al 12 TUSD proporcionará escuela de verano de recuperación de créditos. La información de la escuela de verano para los grados 9 al 12 se puede encontrar a continuación. La escuela de verano es una oportunidad para que los estudiantes retomen cursos en los que recibieron una D o una F en el semestre. K-12 Extended School Year

K-8 Summer Intervention Programs

K-8 Summer Intervention Program will occur June 10th – July 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at North School. This summer program is for students needing intervention in Math and English Language Arts. Our goal is to prepare students for the fall while building confidence heading into a new school year. The program will include daily instruction in academics and enrichment, STEM activities, physical education, art, and history. Students may be recommended but be placed on a waiting list based on student need. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be available for all students.

SUMMER 2025 INFORMATION

PreK-12 and TYAP Extended School Year Program is in the month of June for students with a disability who require continued services identified, stated, and recommended in an IEP.

ESY for grades PreK-8 will occur June 9, 2025 – July 3, 2025 at Villalovoz Elementary School.

ESY for grades 9-12 will occur June 9, 2025 – July 3, 2025 at Kimball High School.

Tracy Young Adult Program (TYAP) will also occur June 9, 2025 – July 3, 2025 at TISCS.

A letter will be sent home the week of May 20 to families providing further information regarding their student’s participation in these programs.
