Each Induction Candidate will demonstrate development and growth in the profession by building on the knowledge and skills gained during Preliminary Preparation Program in a robust mentoring system that helps each candidate develop an Individualized Learning Plan to work to meet the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. Induction Candidates will become eligible for their California Clear Credential after completing 2 years of Induction Coursework or by completing TUSD Induction Early Completion Option, ECO.
Eligibility for Induction
To participate, teachers must meet the following credential and employment requirements, as verified by Human Resources through the Intake Form:
Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Preliminary Credential
Out of state credential with less than two years of contracted teaching experience
Employment in a certificated teaching assignment in Tracy Unified School District
Please note that interns, teachers holding a Clear Credential, and substitute teachers are not eligible for TUSD Induction participation, however all new hires are eligible for the Tracy Teacher Induction Program (TTIP).
