Dr. Rob Pecot, Superintendent
Three TUSD Employees were honored at the 2024 Educator Impact Awards Ceremony, which was hosted by Congressman Josh Harder of California’s 9th Congressional District. The ceremony recognized remarkable educators who have made a lasting impact on their students, schools, and community. Our three TUSD honorees were Tammy Jalique (Associate Superintendents for Human Resources), Jacqui Nott (Principal Louis-Bohn Elementary), and Jessica Almaraz (Counselor, North School).
As the leader of our Human Resources Department Tammy Jalique is responsible for hiring/recruiting, complaints/compliance, negotiations, policies, and employee relations. Ms. Jalique has excelled in her position because of her attention to detail and genuine care for each employee. She is a recognized and respected pillar of the TUSD Community.
In her third year as Lous-Bohn Elementary School Principal, Jacqui Nott has proven her merit as leader of the school. Under her leadership the school has seen tremendous academic growth, installed multiple new programs for student well-being and support, and has provided opportunities for staff professional development. The TUSD Community is lucky to have her passion and foresight.
Jessica Almaraz was recognized for her compassion and advocacy for her students. As counselor at North School, Jessica sees the promise in every student and works tirelessly to help students and their families feel empowered. Her administrators appreciate her for taking care of everyone, without judgement, which makes North School a better place.

BOND MEASURE O
Tracy Unified has placed a facilities bond measure on this November's ballot. If Measure O passes, this bond would contribute to providing safety and campus security systems, upgrading of our older schools, provide labs and technology to support high-quality instruction; repair/remove hazardous materials such as lead pipes from older schools; and replace deteriorating roofs, plumbing, gas lines, sewer lines and electrical system. TUSD cannot advertise for or against this bond, but can provide facts about it. For more information, please visit the bond website HERE.
