Dear Tracy Community,
The school year is well underway as we begin to enjoy the fall season. I have had the opportunity to visit many classrooms thus far and have been very impressed with the quality of instruction that I have been observing. I am confident that our teaching staff is doing an excellent job educating the students of Tracy.
The district has started work on the building of a new Central Elementary School. While it will take many months to finish, I am confident that the final product will be something that our entire community can be proud to have students attend. Thank you to the students, staff and parents for your patience as the work on this project continues.
TUSD is committed to providing a safe environment for students. Our “Red Carpet” event recognizing anti-bullying month is on Wednesday, November 8th at 6:00 at Kimball High School. Please join us for this important event as we honor students selected for their outstanding anti-bullying poster. This event has grown every year and you will not want to miss it!
Everyone at Tracy Unified is committed to seeing that our students succeed academically. Working together with parents and guardians, we can create a nurturing environment where students feel supported and are successful in the classroom.
Thank you for the support that you have shown our students and district.
