May 2015
Greetings Parents and Guardians
Can you believe it’s May already? This month is filled with finishing state testing, 8th grade promotion activities, science camp, and field trips. What an exciting time!
Obviously the weather has changed but our dress codes have not. Thank you for reviewing the dress codes with your child which can be found on pages 14-15 in the student agenda. We want all students to be safe and have good experiences at school and sometimes students who are dressed inappropriately get in the way of that.
Thank you so much for your support of our staff at Williams Middle School and for those of you who have been involved in making Science Camp happen for 6th graders, Parent Club members, and those who volunteer in the office. School would not be the same without you!
Please call or e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns about our rules or policies or if you need to express your opinion about events happening at school. We must keep our communication lines open and work together to help our children be successful and learn to navigate the world we live in.
If I don’t talk to you or see you before the end of school, have a wonderful and safe summer and I look forward to seeing you in August. And to all of the 8th graders who are promoting to high school, good luck and I wish you much success!
Barbara Montgomery
