 Principal's Message

November-December

Dear West High Families:

Hard to believe the semester is coming to a close.   Please ensure your students are working on any make up work or retakes with their teachers now.  Don’t wait until the end of the semester.

As we move into the Holidays and the weather changes we have some great opportunities to reach out and help others.  Teaching our young people now the importance of giving back can change their lives and the lives of many others.  With all the importance and hype put into electronics this time of year, it is a great chance to shut that all down and teach our youth about helping others, talking to others and listening to others.  There are many clubs at school reaching out to help others as well, so students can join in those efforts if they need ideas.  Please let us know if there are other ways the schools can help in our community.

We have our first PTSA meeting on November 30th at 6pm in the library.  This is the charter meeting where the group gets organized and where the dues are collected as well.  Please bring the $15 for dues.  We have a strong parent group formed and they are excited to get others involved, so please come on down November 30th at 6pm in the library.

I hope everyone has a wonderful break.  Please help your students to begin preparing for finals now.

Sincerely,

Troy Brown

Principal
