After School Learning Labs -

Once again, THS is proud to offer to all students Learning Labs in each content area! If a student needs a little extra help on an assignment, please let them know about our wonderful Labs! Students can attend all or part of a Lab session as they are drop in Labs. They must, however, come with work to do, be on task, and follow all rules. Labs are also a great place to study if students want to work in study groups with one another and have a teacher close at hand to help them should they get stuck.

 All Labs run from 3:20pm - 4:20pm
Social Science - Mr. Nunn - A218 - Tuesdays
Math - Mr. Hern - A109 - Wednesdays
Modern Language - Mr. Melgarejo - D102 - Thursdays
English - Mr. Musich - A207 - Wednesdays
Science - Ms. Del - E107 - Wednesdays

 Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the seventh month of the school year!  February is a short month. There will be no school on February 8th and 15th in celebration of Lincoln’s birthday and President’s Day. With only four months of this school year remaining everyone at the school is busy (staff and students alike).  We are already looking toward graduation and working on classes for next year.
Many of our students have been working all year for competitions that are just about to happen.  Students study and practice for these events outside of normal school hours. Our Academic Decathlon team will compete on February 6th at Lathrop High School.  The THS Mock Trial team will be competing between February 16th and 27th at the San Joaquin County Courthouse. Our Science Olympiad team will compete on March 5th at McNair High School.  We wish all three groups much success! Go Bulldogs!
The THS Drama department is preparing for its Spring production, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Students have been working every day to build sets, learn lines, and sew costumes. Please come out and support our wonderful actors.  The show will run March 4, 5, 11 and 12. $5.00 for students and $8.00 for adults. (This play is not recommended for young children because of some graphic scenes.)
Please take a moment to check your student’s attendance on Aeries. If there are any periods they have missed that are not showing excused or cleared, they may have Saturday School hours.  Students with Saturday School hours must attend Saturday School to clear those hours. There will be Saturday School on February 20th and 27th only this month due to the holidays.  These hours carry over to the next school year for any student who is not a Senior, and all Seniors must have all hours cleared to be able to walk in graduation. Now is a good time to check up on your student’s attendance.
Thank you for you continued support of Tracy High School.
 Jason Noll, Principal
