 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Bohn Family—

I trust that all of you had a good Thanksgiving Break.  I hope that you were able to get some rest, spend some time with loved ones and eat a lot!  This time of year is always my favorite, as it gives me time to reflect on what is important in our lives.

As the weather starts to become colder, it is important that we do everything we can to keep our children healthy.  We do not want them missing school due to illnesses we can avoid.  This is why it is important that we ensure our children are eating right, getting plenty of rest and are dressed warmly for the weather.  Please be sure to help your child with these things, as we want them healthy so they can learn as much as they can.  If your child does become sick, please be sure to report it to our front office by calling the attendance line.

This month at Bohn, we will be focusing on the character trait of “Responsibility”.  While we focus on being good citizens all the time, this month we want to practice being responsible.  We are encouraging our students to always do their best, follow-through on tasks given by parents and teachers and make sure that they think before they act.  We want our students to practice making good choices and holding themselves accountable for those choices.  Please remind them that character counts in everything they do!

As always, should you have any questions or concerns, my door is always open.

Respectfully,
Lemuel Vergara, Principal
